Updated General Directives and Liturgical Guidelines Due to the COVID-19, was released on March 27, 2020.  There will be no Mass, Confessions or the use of the Church or Chapel for private or public prayer until at least April 30th.  Please read the memo on the attached link for more details.


To plead to the Lord for a speedy end to the current worldwide pandemic, Pope Francis invites all to join with him in prayer on Friday, March 27, 7:00 a.m. Hawaii Time (6:00 p.m. Rome time).  

The Holy Father will conduct a prayer service for all the world at St. Peter’s Basilica, which will include Scripture readings, prayers, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. He will conclude with the Urbi et Orbi Blessing (to the city of Rome and to the world), which is normally only given at Easter and Christmas. A special indulgence is connected to this blessing. You can join in this prayer service via EWTN Catholic television network or other media portals.

EWTN will be airing the Pope’s special one-hour Urbi et Orbi LIVE on television, online, and on EWTN’s Facebook page on Friday, March 27 at 1 p.m. ET, with an encore at 8 p.m. ET, and 5 a.m. ET, Saturday, March 28. Our “Virtual Rosary” had over 45 participants yesterday, so we are inspired to do a “Virtual Stations of the Cross” today, Friday, March 27th at 3:00pm.  Please try and log on before 3pm so we can start on time.

Directive from Bishop Larry regarding cancellation of public Masses and other gatherings through March 31.

Effective immediately, all Masses at Annunciation and Ascension churches are cancelled, as is the Friday Stations/Soup & Bread, the Chrism Mass, and Lenten Penance Service.   The situation will be re-evaluated on March 27th.
