Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

It is now time again to begin gathering those adults who are interested in professing their faith as Catholics.

A consecutive 24-week study of Catholic faith, worship, and morals. Study sessions are on-line, using the ZOOM platform every Monday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Rite of Christian initiation of Adults is a process and geared toward:

  • Individuals who have never been baptized.
  • Individuals who have been baptized in another denomination.
  • Individuals who were baptized in the Catholic Church but who have left the Church or have never practiced their faith in the Catholic Church.

The purpose of these RCIA gatherings is to join together to reflect upon and study Catholicism. The impetus is to prepare those who have come forward and desire to become Catholic to prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation:

  • Baptism
  • Confirmation
  • Eucharist.

CIA Registration ends September 12, 2022. This year’s program begins on Monday, September 26, 2022 and Sacraments are conferred at Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Note: Catholics looking to deepen their knowledge of their faith are also welcome, as your insights add to the weekly group discussions.
